Just to add more information. I went to Jalan 221 branch in PJ and the story is the same 2.0 is at least till March according to the SA there.

I think if you are keen to get the 1.6 there is still stock available if you hurry to book it now. Go to the 221 branch as it is big and spacious and get your pircture taken next to a Ferrari.

It is a miracle if you can get the 2.0. Even the SA now wants me to downgrade to 1.6sx so that I can get the car fast. He says if you want to wait it would be at least 2 months after March.

As to the key he says there is a smart chip that can be inserted to start the car. I am not sure whether this is correct or not.

I managed to get the car for a 2nd test drive around the MRR2 and the pickup is very good for the 1.6sx. Not like the waja campro whereby there is no power.

There might be some truth there. CKD will be limited to the interior parts like the seats and the wheels as told to me by the SA. The engine will still be from Korea.

But a lot of times I feel the SA for Kia all tembak only. Don't know whether can believe them or not.

Just out of curiosity would you all mind since the car is manufactured 2009 just to get the cbu version?

The SA is asking me to get the 1.6 but I am still interested in the 2.0 version but I don't know how far into 2010 before can get the car?

On Saturday the SA told me the Malaysian car is 2 hp lower compared to Singapore. I read in autoworld that it could be due to us getting the Gemma 1 engine instead of Gemma 2? I am just speculating as I am also blur as to what engine we are getting.

Cheer up Bomberman. I am also waiting just like you. Read a good review about the car in an Australian website and my eye caught a glimpse about their comments about Proton. I find the comments very funny.

The Exora is horribly underpowered, using the same 1.6 CamPro engine as the rest of the range. 82KW and 148NM in a people mover! I wonder if Proton tested it on any slight hills when it is loaded up, using the auto!

They did test it and it did not move very far up the hill.

I wonder does Naza rotate the demo units around or are they selling off the demo units as new? I have been to a few car dealers like Honda, Perodua and they seem to have a test drive car that belongs to the branch. Whereas in Naza I see a different car at the showroom today.

So I am wondering whether are they using customer's car for demo as I would not accept the car if it is used for demo. Can anyone clarify this?
