oh..btw, Rayman wants to join us for TT or any future Forte convoy outing.
It seems they were had to register a car for the test-drive and keep a spare as showroom display.
so, in default that makes him part of the Forte owner. hahaha..
sigh..what a waste otherwise at least 1 of his 2 Forte(s) will be available for the new owner.

i memang noob in tinting like our bro shamsul.

so far my options are:
1) v-kool elite @ RM1400 but without guarantee/warranty but recommended by a trusted friend who has been using the same guy for 10 years and also has recommended to his other friends. the boss says if you send to vkool n they tell you its fake, he will refund u the money n u keep the tint;

2) 3M @ approx. RM1400 with Crystalline60/70 for front & rear. Windows also 3M but different spec. Add RM150 for security. Recommended by my neighbour and neighbour told me the boss personally installs it.

3) Tintmaster @ 40-50% discount. Recommended by my SA. Price is cheaper then above 2 with security film & 7years warranty. With their discount can choose their higher specs.

- I have paid my RM1K booking on 2/12/09 nite with the "request" of red/silver in color for 1.6SX with KIA dealer's SA.
- 7/12/09, Affin Bank call me to sign loan contrat, 5yrs at 2.9%.
- Today,9/12/09 the SA called me : Car available !  But the setback is only Black & Bronze Metal color available. After reconsider, i choose Bronze Metal. So now registration in progress ! So the true is Dealer is faster than Branch ! And they can give aditional XXX

- But i have 2 questions which i still 
1) Is it really necessary for us to install "Alarm System" ? What kind of 'Alarm system' Forte has ? if somebody break into Forte, is it really it won't have any 'alarm'? My SA called up Naza/KIA and they said no need to install any alarm. Do u know any other cars in Malaysia have this type of 'problem' like Forte ?
2) Naza/KIA also told my SA that there is no Extended Warranty Program for Forte ! Is it true ? Have anybody really call up KIA customer service to check? Or anybody has "apply" it ?

Someone commented there is no alarm installed in Forte. But when i see the Forte booklet, it shows the remote controls not 4 buttons, the last looks like a alarm symbol ?

guys, i need to know this too. i'm seriously clueless what's the problem with my car delivery.

i've settled my downpayment for nearly 2 weeks, and bought insurance since last week. JPJ number also i bought it myself, and yet my SA and the branch admin cannot tell me when i can get my car. to make things worse, they can't even tell me where it got stuck. one said it's sent for inspection, one said already inspected, pending for some document from custom.

i can't stand this nonsense anymore. 

by the way, the SA is not answering my call now. call 10 times, probably answered once 

i beg to differ. i was allocated my car with chassis/engine number even before i paid the full downpayment. loan was just approved but not signed yet. i booked on the 27th november. my car came last week to showroom on thursday. delayed was caused by AP document not complete so can't send for inspection. also runner was on leave and also sick. supposed to get car today but postpone to tomoro. i believe delay caused by branch and HQ tardiness. SA alwiz say AP car takes longer. and this coming from AP king. never had any problem when i bought CBU hyundai getz last time.

Anyway, just to share with you. My SA said to me deposit + loan approval + downpayment only allocate car. I did all that but there was no car allocate. I was disappointed, so decided to call careline, told them about the situation and ask them if they can look into providing me the car earlier. The next day SA SMS, ask me to bear with him for awhile. Few days later, SA SMS said car allocated, if everything smooth will get car this week, if not it will be next week.

I did ask the careline how come other car manufacturers allocate car based on deposit, but you guys based on so many criteria. Careline fellow told me, SA suppose to allocate care based on deposit.

my SA said he got no news at all.. he requested 2.0 to be test drive car but end up rejected by Naza due to no stock availability wo..
i very early already booked 2.0... mid of november.
go for 407.. is good car if u can afford it...
and u don't need to wait blindly too....
but bear in mind 408 is coming out soon that's why is so cheap now.

I already got my car this afternoon. 1st in town ! Whole process taking <2 weeks : Booking -> Car delivered
   

i also get the loan from Affin Bank with 2.9%, 5yrs, 50K.

But i have one    : the front door(passenger side) can open from inside the car with just pull the handle, eventhough i already lock all the doors using central lock(with smart key in the car). I have tried it and also it is written in manual. But i wonder the door still able to open if the car is moving. I yet to test it. If yes, then i might have a issue : my wife is always carry my little daughter sitting at the front and my daughter may tangan gatal just open the door... Have someone try this?
