To HD668B and HD681 owners:

Are you guys interested in AKG K240/K270 velour earpads?
I'll start a bulk when I find out more details tomorrow.

Just got my 668B from bro trio, first impression... impressive but bear in mind this is my first headphone set. Previously using B&O earphones, 668B is such a big upgrade haha.. As mention before, not very comfortable sad.gif I tend to get a bit of headache after wearing it but hopefully my body will adapt to it as first time using headphone mah.

Agreed with bro trio, this headphone sound much better when amped. Some how or rather when straight out from my Chaintech AV710 the sound is quite thin, I managed to find an old amplifier from my dad's stash of amps, ION Obelisk 150, can't find much info on this amp, but the sound after amped is much better and bass also more punchy. Me only testing with from FLAC mainly Jazz and Aaron Neville. Hope my newbie review will help hehe..

Now gotta burn-in this baby.. Burn burn burn wink.gif

Cheers!

Un-bend the steel cables to get rid of the death clamp. It will increase the comfort by a HYOOOGE margin.

And burn it in for a few hundred hours.
