The tension cable over the head is pulled apart so that it doesn't 'death grips' my head. Now it's looser and I can wear it for longer periods without much discomfort.

Basically, mine is bass light compared to stock. And on good recordings, it gives me eargasms. And listening to binaural recordings (e.g. Ultrasone Test CD) is even crazier!

It's no HD650. But I can live with it for a very long time. A good amp, a good DAC and good source will let it sound way too good for its price.

And for those wanting to get their hands wet with headphone modding, Superlux 681 and 668B are good practice because it's so easy to mod and see how it's assembled & disassembled.
