if i go for vegetarian, its not about the killing moral thingy.
its more about healthy food.
human is omnivore, afterall.
A human dentition suggest otherwise... We have 2 sets of dentition in a lifetime and both of the dentition suggest that we are purely herbivours... Even omnivores in the animal kingdom have a bigger canine, smaller set of molars and a bigger temporalis muscle (muscle you use to eat) than we do, if you study comparative anatomy, we are born to be vegans... its more about healthy food.

Don't get me wrong, I love my meat...

ur body doesnt do the balancing, u need to do the balancing itself. vegetarianism is troublesome as u need to go to great lengths to cover the gap left by omitting meat in your diet.
LOL do u even know how many types of protein are needed in our daily diet? do u know what combination of nuts and legumes to take to fulfill these requirements?
like i said, most people just want to go vegetarian and do not take into consideration the study needed to understand the types of food that is essential for vegetarians to maintain a balanced diet.
and when it comes to that, y go thru all the trouble when there's meat for u?

While I'm all for GM food and cloning, I suppose part of the main concern is to show that there are no side effects of consuming it.
But then again there will always be a group of people claiming such technology is an act of 'playing God'
Well, for one, I don't mind eating Dolly, the cloned sheep... If you really consider that it's just made up of protein same that has the same genetic content as the clonee, it really has no side effect on consuming them..But then again there will always be a group of people claiming such technology is an act of 'playing God'
By the way, I generally do believe that we DO indeed produce enough food for the world... (Not too sure what carbon footprint has to do with the food production) But we have a huge unequal distribution of food and wealth in the world...
