QUOTE(David_Brent @ Nov 25 2009, 11:32 PM) Case in point: I hold my HAIO from 8.05 high and now dropped almost two bucks.....so: am I stupid for not selling and buying back lower? Or am I smart because I hold it and buy more at lower price because I believe it will eventually hit 9.xx 20/20 hindsight is a wonderful thing.... These days our share price is irrational.... If I hop to the Haio that day, I will dump part of it regardless how good the share is cos the price has rised too fast in a very short period. If it doest fall back, then say bye bye, move to other counters. If it really come back, buy back and sail with it again. Nobody can time the highest and the lowest. Trade when you are happy with the price.

QUOTE(jasontoh @ Nov 25 2009, 11:36 PM) Depends on your strategy. If long term, why would you even look at the price. Summore looking at the low volume, I already expect it to drop back, though if I have the stocks, I will just keep in the freezer, as I'm not God. I do not know whether the price would go up or go down. I always try not to be God, again most of the time clouded by greed. Who knows, maybe suddenly HaiO surge?? What I'm trying to say that unless we are God, and know the price movement, patience will do us good. Buying/selling in rush always the worst decisions I have had. yea, u have a point there unfortunately most of the time i am clouded by the word "greed" well sometimes it does pays off, sometimes it doesn't i believe tmr will be my buy day...will see how

QUOTE(simplesmile @ Nov 25 2009, 11:37 PM) I already bought a 2nd contract at 1276.5 Too impatient Hm.... QUOTE(debbieyss @ Nov 25 2009, 10:25 PM) the market is rising up wor.... at least until 2013... But many of the stocks are already reached the highest price it can, so there may be "profit-taking" off and on, but we have left recession very very far away. Fung Shui for 2010 is far better than 2009. I believe we are already in a slow recovery mode. By the time, the indicators confirm we are out of the recession, stocks would have reach new highs.

QUOTE(wildthings73 @ Nov 25 2009, 11:36 PM) Holding power only apply in stock. For future, I think hmn... Precise and fast . Not really. It depends on how much buffer you have before margin call comes If your account got RM10k, and with current RM2500 margin requirement, you can afford to wait for KLCI to drop 150 points (11.8%) before u cut loss.

Trade when you are happy with the price. Yup. You are right. I've traded when I was happy with the price only to see it go up another 20% or 30%.... Jason is right: The collapse in the HAIO share price has happened on the back of very, very small volume. It went up for very good reasons and the rapid decline looks very suspicious to me. I think there's some manipulation going on and I shall be buying more at the current levels.....
