Dear Lowyat_P1 Wimax,
I've been using wimax for about 1 year and a half. I have no problems with speed or connection so far. the only problem i have though, is with customer service, which, to be honest, is absolutely terrible.
I've subscribed to the 1 year Home Pro Plan, however, u guys gave me the 2 year Home Pro plan with free modem, despite the registration form clearly stating that my contract is only 1 year. you'd probably say "what is there to complain about? u got a free modem! the 1 year plan doesnt have a free modem!"
well, the problem is this, i'll be graduating in about a month, and im planning to terminate my wimax account. but since u guys registered me under the 2 years contract, that means i will be breaking the contract and i have to pay the ridiculous breaking-the-contract fee thing.
i've complained about this matter numerous times to wimax itself, since about a year ago, through email, chat, and feedback form. and every single time u guys replied with "we'll look into the matter" or "we'll forward this to the relevant department". but until now, nothing has been done. so tell me, if im going to terminate my contract before the 2 year period, do i have to pay anything?
