ATOK ... It is sorry sorry sorry.... 1. Male 2. Female - some female shows the pores. 3. Female 4. Male QUOTE If you know at what temperature the gecko was incubated, it will give you a good idea as to what the gender is, but either way you should check the vent (base of the tail where it meets the body). Both genders will have a 'V' of femoral pores at the vent, but in females the femoral pores will appear much fainter than in males. Males also have two hemipenal bulges at the base of the tail, below the vent.
http://hubpages.com/hub/Breeding_Leopard_Geckos LOL.... Crix are ok...just make sure u gutload them. And u can use that device for to monitor the moist and temp level around the gecko's enclosure or inside it. This post has been edited by echosmiles: Jun 6 2010, 12:43 AM

3 is definitely a female... Added on June 6, 2010, 3:55 amQUOTE(BIKA @ Jun 6 2010, 01:37 AM) Atok, what morph no1 and no2 and no3 and no4?i wont put them together if i m not sure about their morph. i only feed crixs once awhile cos crixs die easily and then damn busuk lah.u give multi vits to ur leos? This is my leos babies after 8days.there are showing more tang hue,so do guys think is normal or mack snow? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « They are Hypo Snow Babies. Just like daddy they will look tangerine or yellowish because they are hypoing out. Snow doesn't totally mean pure white and black. In time as they grow the polygenetic influence of the yellow or tangerine will burn up. I have mack snows that looks totally hi yellow and mack snows tremper albinos that looks no different than any other tremper albinos. But as long you know the history you can still manage to produce some super snows which is the end game. Cheers. This post has been edited by echosmiles: Jun 6 2010, 03:55 AM

QUOTE(IliekIZ @ Jun 8 2010, 04:11 AM) Hey guys, just wanna find out what it exactly means when u describe a LG as "hot"? cheers That is one good question... Hot Geckos are actually polygenetic Tangerine Leopard Gecko that seems more "hot" then SHTCT or the normal Tangerines. Here are some photos to show some of the differences of the Tangerine types. Tangerine Tornado SHTCT Firewater - (Recessive) Hot Gecko Tangerine - (This is a popular specimen from one of our local breeders ) Hot Gecko Tangerine - (Specimen from Overseas) Hot Gecko Juvee

QUOTE(Azazel @ Jun 8 2010, 04:35 PM) Are you sure? That someone must be very jahat...LMAO! Anyway, I was telling myself the same thing. But in the end I am trying to collect at least one of every mutation there is in the world. Good luck in your "new" venture. It will be an addictive one. Regards Like i said...the poison is self brewed and self consumed. LOL

QUOTE(Azazel @ Jun 8 2010, 05:26 PM) Yeah. By the way, I just received another dumba$$ email. Here's my reply to all such response because it will be the last one I will give i.e. all animals bite, geckos included. If you can't accept that, please do not keep any animals. Better keep plants. p.s. Siput babi as pets are also suitable candidates because I don't think they will bite too. Regards I get alot of those too bro...ALOT ALOT MORE !!! Trust me.... So far there are just a handful of firewater in the market.... it is hard to find, as far as my understanding from research through the internet. Firewater are Line Bred Hybino (Hypo Tangerine Rainwater Albino) Line bred don't know for how many generation by Dan and Roxanne Lubinsky from hotgeckos.com. This explain why these tangerine specimens are recessive instead of polygenetic. (pretty unsure myself here actually) Tangerine Tornado is a Line-Bred Tangerine line by Craig Steward from The Urban Gecko (TUG). Similar to What we would call here Extreme Tangerines but if it is from TUG it is a Tangerine Tornado. Here is another one from ALBEY'S REPTILES which are the Torrid Tangerines. Torrid Tangerines are actually Albey's Line-Bred SHTCT'S to the extreme... where she decided to name it out from the SHTCT line and called 'em Albey's Torrid Tangerines. Photo of Albey's Torrid Tangerine So I'm guessing if you were to line-breed something for a long long time you'd actually would stand a chance to be producing a distinctive form of gecko where you could actually name it your own. So who says this hobby doesn't pays out... imagine a whole line for leopard gecko line under your name recognized by the world. Cheers* This post has been edited by echosmiles: Jun 9 2010, 12:10 AM

Like mentioned atok...they are all in the same group of polygenetic but from different line bred groups....
For me the Torrid Tangerines looks so similiar to the SHTCTs.... but then again.... somewhere in the world people are seeing it otherwise.
