QUOTE(blitzboy @ Apr 19 2010, 11:12 PM) My first batch of gecko hatchlings. Really? By the way you were plagiarizing from all over the internet with cool info and knowledge in this forum, I thought you were a pro Parent is High Yellow + High Yellow het tremper ![]() ![]() I am beginner in this hobby, please help me identify them, because both of them are from the same parent and come out to be totally different color. Anyway, your animals (by visual) are: 1. hi yellow & 2. murphy patty Regards |

QUOTE(blitzboy @ Apr 19 2010, 11:54 PM) I am not plagiarizing. I am just sharing what I know, some of which I read from books and got advised from pros such as echosmiles, billygoatz and mattemily85. Good to know...I have experience in keeping pets like fish both freshwater and marine, hermit crabs, dogs, birds, hamsters and rabbits. As for leopard geckos, I am just getting started which is why I describe myself as a beginner, and I still got a long way to be pro. and still learning. Added on April 20, 2010, 12:01 amBtw, have you found out those who bred knob tails first in Malaysia? You know, the ones who didn't make any records since these species are so easy to breed in our country. If so, let me know so that I can scrap my claims down the toilet. Regards. Nice.
I do not know whether my eyes are playing tricks on me but I can see patterns on your Super Snow Patternless. What line is that specimen? ![]() Although it is true that a Murphy's gene would exhibit patterns during infant and juvenile stage, they should lack them during sub-adult or adult stage. To me, it looked like a Mack Super Snow Tremper Albino. But that's just me. This is how a Patternless Albino (Tremper) Mack Super Snow specimen should look like: *courtesy Sean Niland and this is how a Patternless Mack Super Snow specimen should look like: *courtesy Sean Niland p.s. Sean, considering what I have spent on your animals, I am at least entitled to this i.e. your pictures suck! Joke LMAO! Regards |

QUOTE(Chinchillas @ Apr 24 2010, 02:57 PM) Thanks for pointing it out, learned something. Infact echo had also mention to me about the mild marking on the skin will fall into categaries of SS tremper albino. I hope so.i can see that have very mild water mark on the skin, but the eyes not really like red, is more like solid black( I have colour blind??!!!! I have something like what you post as well, it have no marking at all on the skin, and the eyes is sold black. That definate a SS patternless. Considering you do not seem to know much on what you just bought and bred, I won't put much hopes on such "definite" animals. Two specimens may share similar visuals but they possess different genetics. A very good example to this would be the Diablo Blanco and Super Raptor. Both are useful mutations...as long as you know their genetic background. If you bought a Diablo Blanco (that was earlier branded as a Super Raptor because it possesses two completely red eyes) and bred to a Dreamsickle with aim to create a Super Nova, you will not be successful. Same condition applies to redstripe enigma and tangerine enigma that looks like a redstripe enigma. They may look almost the same but they are totally different. That's why it would be wise to buy from established breeders rather than wholesalers as your foundation stocks. From my experience, wholesalers know sh1ts about their animals except that all of them have a price. And that's about it. My two cents worth. Regards |

QUOTE(Chinchillas @ Apr 24 2010, 04:59 PM) Thanks. Will continue to research and learn from that. ?!At first I did doubt it maybe a Diablo Blanco even tho the container is written SS patternless, cause I see it have very mild ruby red "in the black" eyes, but it have even mild marking as you see on top of the picture above when it reach my hands. I gave Diablo Blanco and Super Raptor as an example la. I'm not saying that the one you just showed is a DB. |

QUOTE(kelvin_faye @ Apr 25 2010, 12:17 AM) whatever it is, u guys surely rule the gecko world now compared to those old days.. It's still a long way to rule the gecko world. Infact, I doubt it's even achievable. USA and EU are still dominating the whole reptile market, geckos included. Far East is not too far behind too. But I hope the US herp industry will collapse, especially with various legislations that are being proposed by their government (Eg. google S373). With the super power out of the way, small fish may get some "feedings". Crossing my fingers |

My first (but NOT the first in Malaysia):
![]() I can't really ID the actual morph (yes it's an amel but I am expecting more than that due to the genetic of its parents) In chronological order, I've successfully bred: 1. Leopard geckos 2. Banded Knob-tailed geckos 3. Smooth Knob-tailed geckos 4. Centralian Knob-tailed geckos 5. African Fat-tailed geckos. Now I'm bored. It's time to retire... I'm also contemplating of selling TGS and all her stocks and business connections. Please browse the below for further details: » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « |
