BTW, I get about why people dont watch or cant relate to Conan or Leno, or even Letterman, Jon Stewart *especially* or Jimmy Kimmel. Most of these shows requires a somewhat American mindset to get the show's comic relief moments, or the gists they're trying to convey. Especially Jon Stewart or Colbert, since they are heavily into the American political psyche. Conan's show may be American, but his monologues and jokes is universal, which proves why even the Finnish love him so much! Eating a sausage after watching lotsa "sausages" skinny-dipping in the cold Baltic Sea? Calling out FAGerstrom? Comedy gold!

People believe her. People trust her. When you are in that kind of position, what you say impacts a lot of lives.

That is responsibility. If she was just starting out as a TV personality, it's forgivable.

But not when she has been in the business for so long. Since people rely on her for what books to read, what food to eat etc it is HER responsibility to check her facts before supporting anything.

Unfortunately the SECRET is such a damaging product - I have met MANAGERs who insist that by thinking positively all your problems will disappear, and people who have problems are due to their own negative thinking. If that were the case, the Gaza residents are to be blamed for their problems with Israel, the Ethiopians are to be blamed for their starvation etc. I'm not kidding, that's how the law of attraction is supposed to work.

So yeah, if she was just a regular gal, I wouldn't give a crap. But because she has the potential to shape how people THINK, she better get her facts right.
