What channels are worth subscribing on Astro, if you're not a football-head?
Are the Star World TV series up to date at all, or am I better off sticking with my current iTunes delivery method? Astro's TV Guide feature crashes like nobody's business, so I cant check their programme listings. I have the packages needed for the 5 Byond HD channels, so that should narrow it down. Is updated episodes of Spongebob still on Nickelodeon? Do they have E!(Entertainment) Tonight on Channel E!? Do they have TMZ at all? What about MTV, is that worth subscribing? I'm looking at CNBC for the sole purpose of catching "The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien" but that show is only on weekend, and it shows the Thursday and Friday repeats, omitting the rest of the weekday guests. Still contemplating if that is worth it , or sticking with my current "Conan delivery" methods. I don't really need news, I can get them as they break from AP or online newsfeed. If I can get rid of Astro Family package, I would. No choice since that is part of the standard package. Blearrgghh! I was thinking of this as complementing my current VOD delivery system I have, but from the looks of it, it's hardly "complementary" of my current viewing habits at all! Any thoughts, guys? I'm selective of my shows as well, they have to be updated, I don't watch Season 3 of Heroes, or Season 4 of Lost, when they are more updated episodes in the States. Asstro B.yond is just another farce from Asstro, as usual
even with the upgraded dish and decoder, the so called HD program are still worst than my normal terrestrial RF signal TV channel I saw it with my own eyes at my fren's place, on his LCD TV Soon you'll see lots of people complaining Asstro conning them again |

I saw differently. Not much difference from the downloaded iTunes HD contents I have, so that is acceptable to me. The only negative point is the fadeout during precipitation.
So, yup, I trust my eyes, trained well in the realm of calibration and calibrating moving pictures called video all these while.  I figure, they've lost me for more than 4 years since I terminated, so it's a loss to them, not to me. Back to the questions, please. Are those channels updated, or are they still old repeats? Old episodes of Spongebob? those TV shows I queried still showing old contents? If that is so, I'll stick with the current package, and maintain iTunes as the mainstay method of delivery. |
