Alza surely looks better for me....somehow the antenna looks odd at the rear...definitely will look better if its in front.

Kembara is Terios previous generation.

Nautica is Terios (name used in Europe), Be-Go (in Japan)

Nautica is not Rush.

Rush = long wheelbase, 2WD

Terios/Be-Go, 4WD and short wheelbase smile.gif

Terios in Indonesia is similar to Rush.

I never liked Perodua because of this.... they do now what Proton did years back.

I prefer Proton over Perodua simply because these days, Proton makes new models on their own with help from LG CNS to do the design work on the platforms. Proton is actually contributing to this country and to the building of a pool of experts in automotive tech.

Meanwhile, Perodua is just providing a backdoor for Toyota/Daihatsu to enter malaysia.

ok my 2 cents.

the perodua meters are way nicer then the daihatsu.

but i like the daihatsu interior better especially how the space beside teh gateshifter is nicely filled with an intergrated control for the climate control instead of the perodua dedicated 3 buttons for the aircond.

at a glance the daihatsu meter panel is very2 colourful. but thisis my own oppinion.

style wise not much to differentiate. both also good looking.

and for those who say perodua has faild, u guys really dont understand how the concept of part sharing goes. it keeps the cost down and quality up. maybe a few things were tone down to keep the price down.

in terms of people saying why the styling is the same between the perodua and daihatsu and say it's a failure i wan tto ask u this;

porche, the design of the 911 havent change much since it was first introduce. and the design is carried over to the boxster, cayenne, and panamera. xde org bising pun.

good effort from perodua. at least proton has to keep up before it is toppled totally in terms of value for money and the tittle of "the people's car".

good thread kampung2005

This thread is just to show design difference between Daihatsu and Perodua.

I would say good job to Perodua.

still its rebadge from daihatsu even the component are local...reason is becoz to cut cost. if use ckd part myvi price sure 60k+

kancil = daihatsu mira
kelisa = daihatsu cuore
kenari = daihatsu move
myvi = daihatsu sirion/boon toyota passo
nautica = toyota rush

still waiting perodua design its own car...price sure will be cheaper.  whistling.gif

u already say cut cost, that's y its cheaper to get the whole damn idea from japan, and make it locally and sell locally ain it? if perodua is to research their own unique model only for perodua's badge, it'l cost hell lot more. and if you get those original mira or passo or passo setta, you're gonna get taxed for fcuk sake so that those datok seri can drive a 7-Series.

we're actually getting something that is research and develop in japan and paying the price of locally made. be happy that you can buy a 'passo' like car without the tax, coz the AP is not gonna get abolished anytime soon.

don't blame it on proton, blame it on ourselves for voting blood suckers and corrupted government.

wait, every goverment is corrupted. doh.gif

Why bother increasing the speedometer to 220km/h when I assume it can only reach speeds of 165-170kmph?

Attract the hot-blooded youngsters?

some ppl prefer "batang go up" in the middle,
easier to see let say you are driving alng the highway..

same like satria neo oso, 120km/h is up in the middle

well don^don, nobody is forcing u to buy the car.

the method u said about getting the whole thing from japan and assembling it in malaysia is what NAza is actually doing. and the price of their cars are not cheap.

and i said again, nobody is forcing anyone to buy the car.

if the person budget doesnt permit him to get that car there are many other alternatives. second hand cars can be bought at reasonable price.

and u can choose from local to imported cars if u go for second hand.

and 1 more thing i like to add is, if a person is not capable of buying a car, then he dont deserve to have a car since he will for sure have a rough time to maintain it, and the person will cut corners in service, using third party or pirated spare parts, which will lead to a huge accident if any of the parts fails.
