I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask..let say a property market value is RM170k, is it okay for owner to sell it at RM250k?Or it does not matter as it is up to the owner to decide it? Thanks

Quite a weird question. Obviously it is totally up to seller to decide the asking price. But got buyer want to buy or not is separate matter la.

My myvi i can post on carsome for rm2mil, nobody gonna saman me. But 20 years later it will still be unsold la.

Iprop n propguru is mostly agents' price to attract leads. I'd say use brickz.my for historical transacted prices. Maybe need to pay for latest data.

Weird isn't it. I just would like to know if there are a laws that prevent owner from selling to high above the market value. If none, then I'll need to try to negotiate on the price. Thanks for the reply smile.gif
