I think every studio should AT least have a decent drumset... the others... At least lah... VERY least... halfstack amps... Or if low budget then 60 watts+ lahh... If got at least a decent budget I would suggest you get this smile.gif for one studio lah...

Tama Superstar... Can get for around 2.5k... VERy good for small spaces but EXTREMELY quality sound and comes with Remo drumheads..
The drum set has birch interior plies for power and great projection plus a basswood inner ply and a modern wrapped finish. The drum kit features die-cast hoops, the Star-Cast mounting system for increased resonance, minimum shell contact hi-tension lugs, die-cast claw hooks for bass drum, and new Quick-Set tilter hardware pack.

7-ply bass drum shell is composed of interior birch plies with basswood inner ply. 6-ply toms and snare are made of birch with basswood inner ply. Matched color wood bass drum hoops. Tom hoops are die-cast with the Tama Star-Cast Mount System for natural shell resonance. Tama Power Craft heads provide the finishing touch.

Sabian B8 Super Set cymbal pack includes the Sabian B8 cymbals: a pair of 14" hi-hats, 14" crash, 16" thin crash, 20" ride cymbal, a free 18" thin crash, and a free 10" splash. The B8 hi-hats have crisp and lively stick and pedal response and are very bright and definite, clean and penetrating. The B8 thin crash has a full, penetrating response, and is bright and loud, exploding with an upward pitch gain for maximum impact. The 20" ride has crisp stick definition, a cutting bell, and a bright tonal response blend to create a smooth, versatile ride. The free 10" splash accents with extremely fast, bright, and punchy high-end cut.
Can get for around 1k-ish... Very good cymbals for their price... tambah another 1k for stands smile.gif

And IF you can afford it... Can get for less than 1k...

To keep EVERYONE happy... The world's most umm... customizable pedal smile.gif

Okay...drums done...

For guitars second hand also can lahh... But must be quality... Go get something from gapnap/Clement

Amps I've said earlier liao...

EFFECTS. A lot of studios don't rent out effects...

Try getting at least the more common ones.. Like MT-2's, or TS9's.... distortion esp....

A sofa would be nice... With proper sound proofing and air-conditioning... Once I went to a studio in Ampang the guy downstairs asked us to keep quiet... CAUSE THERE WAS A HOLE IN THE FLOOR =_=' and it was HOOOOOT.

So yeah... looking forward to trying your place out biggrin.gif Keep us informed yeah?

And ALWAYS keep a few cheap drumsticks and strings... SURE got people break strings, don't bring drumsticks and all...

My 2 cents plus tax xD
