I'd download some app from slideME market using my hero, after I installed the apk file, it seem save to my phone memory instead of SD card.

My problem is - When I open the 'All program' page, I can't see the app I'd install, its only seen through the ES File Explorer.

How to move the phone app to SD card ?

Thx for reading my question.

First of all, the first big question is, is your phone rooted already? Which ROM are you running?
If you are running the default HTC ROM, then you can't move it to SD.
If you are running the custom ROM, depending on the ROM that you are running, usually they will automatically install them on the SD card.

I'm remaining the default ROM, I think is 1.5 only, actually I'm new in PDA phone, but I done some research about upgrade to 1.6/2.0..

Lastly I also don't dare to do this coz I scare I'll miss up some steps which will coz my phone 'disable', just like what I did on my PSP last time, sign ..

BTW, If really miss up something tat made the phone 'dead', can we recovery ourself?

I suggest you follow my tutorial. Here is the link:
http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1211670

Once you're done with it, your apps will be saved in the mmc. This tutorial will also speed up your HTC Hero. Give it a shot. Don't worry, there is a recovery console which can recover if anything goes wrong.

p/s: Btw, PSP also have recovery consoles to fix them. Depending on the PSP model you are having that is smile.gif I was in the PSP scene for quite sometime before this..
