dont worry, no offense taken for the previous post, cheers...

anyway, think of it this way dude...im really sure singapore has more exotics than malaysia for 1 reason, the prices..just think about it, if i had SGD1million, i could buy a couple of supercars, if it were in RM, I wouldn't even get 1, unless its recond or 2ndhand..that being said. the AVERAGE rich Malaysian who would own a supercar would probably only have ONE in his garage at any time..because Singaporeans have higher buying power due to the higher standard of living(ok, im sure no one would argue with this statement), they normally wont trade in their supercars for new ones every time they have their minds fixed on a newer model..over here however, even though they can afford 2 supercars, they probably wouldnt be able to maintain them, so they'll rather trade..

im not trying to step on anyone's toes by writing this, as i myself am new here..but im just giving my point of view from experiences that i have mixing with both parts of the groups..cheers guys, hope i didnt offend anyone..

You are completely correct, someone should pay a visit and check it out. Verify that this information is indeed true and timely.
Johnkor, you are a source of reliable and important information. Such brilliance is wasted here, may I suggest you leave LYN immediately and get the job you deserve as a CNN anchorman! Godspeed, Johnkor, we'll be sad to never see you here again, but rejoice at your new position at CNN!

From what I heard, he owns a Lamborghini Gallardo, Ferrari F430 Spider, Porsche Cayman S and Mercedes-Benz CLS350. All of his car number plate are 1918. But I also heard that he sold off his Ferrari and go for Lamborghini, and I never know that he owns a BMW X6 too.
Not really, from what I heard and see, all his collection are 1918 number.

Terance Cheah is about 3x year old, he was once a KDU Penang student. From what I heard is he was just took one semester studies, maybe make friends around I guess. Sometime he drives his CLS and Cayman S to school, but I never see he bring his F430 to school. I like this kind of people, power lol.

Another Ferrari F430 driver appear in KDU Penang again, the number plate is PJA 7. From what I heard is that driver is about just 18 or 19 year old, very young looking.

kennie, to your question on whether i have any knowledge on the field, i would say YES....i dont come here just for the sake of talking cock and blowing my own trumpet..i DO have friends in SG and Malaysia who own and/or have parents/siblings who own supercars..in fact, i even know some people who work with the service centers in both countries...the cost of maintaining a supercar in SG is indeed CHEAPER *please note that i didnt say CHEAP* than in Malaysia because of the import taxes and duties on the spare parts..sure, Malaysia might have many grey importers who can manage to bring in the CARS, but let me ask u this, who gets the supply of spare parts?!..other than reputable centers, Naza Italia for example, im sure supercar owners wouldnt wanna send their cars to some tom, d*** and harry workshop just tochange the parts eventhough they somehow manage to source their parts themselves..if these facts are not enough to make u satisfied, i recommend u think before u type, do some research yourself, and then question others..like i said, BUYING a supercar is one thing, MAINTAINING it is another...

and about
"stop the nonsense facts and figures la, such likes there are only 2 billionaires in singapore and 6 in malaysia??? top 40 richest man total wealth in singapore worth $28 billion and $26 in malaysia???? all these are 'talking cock' facts....if really wan to know then better go check out the official registered no. ", i have no idea who you're quoting and i dont really give a flying fart, but if u have a problem with them, dont take it out on everyone else who gives their point of views...
seriously dude, im not trying to embarrass u or anything, and again, neither am i trying to step on anyone else's toes, but please, if u wanna make a difference, just correct those who are wrong instead of just ranting like a kid, its not going to bring u anywhere in life..

cheers all, and sorry again if i might have offended anyone... icon_rolleyes.gif

Mmm sequential gearbox, full race spec. This would be fun in SIC smile.gif

To the above poster who said "even though they can afford 2 supercars, they probably wouldnt be able to maintain them": no one really buys a supercar without taking in consideration and factoring in the maintenance and running costs. If I had 2 supercars, I'd be spreading the mileage I'd put on one between the both of them, so it wouldn't be that much of a increase in costs. But if the a car at that level costs, say, RM1 mil, an annual maintenance layout of, say, RM20-40k is a drop in the ocean, really. Indeed, Malaysians have to spend more on maintenance, but after seeing the cars in Naza Italia's and Lambo's workshops here, money doesn't really seem to be that big an issue.

I spend a lot of time in US automotive forums.
From what i can observe, lambo & ferrari owners there mostly don't mind the expensive maintenance & replacement parts.
But they do care if the price is exorbitant. I would guess mainly due to the car price there is way lower than us but their labor is very expensive.

In malaysia, most who can afford a supercar should not mind the expensive maintenance because the maintenance cost:car price ratio here is much lower compared to USA.

If I can afford a supercar, I would drive the heck out of it.
If I worry that mileage will depreciate the car too much, it just means I still can't afford it.
