Bro edifier, can you pass any of the contact of steelseries's developement team to me? Their pr isnt replying my mail, i have something to ask regarding xai's fw too like noobie1, currently the mouse have some minor positive accel, the engineer at logitech site manage to figure out something but there's no fix for them yet, so would like to ask about steel's side. Atm all mouses that uses the avago9500 have some sort of positive acceleration.
I'm waiting to purchase it to do a review but what is the point if the positive accel is already a proven issue, so waiting for them to make a fix before i make a purcahse. |

Bor chiahau go to control panel->Mouse, set your speed at 6th notch, select enhance pointer precision, move your mice slowly for a distance, 2nd time move your mouse quick with the same distance, by "distance" i mean hand movement u make, same length of movement with different speed, that is what we call positive acceleration, to turn it off uncheck the enhance pointer precision.
Come back share your experience =) |

Yes thats why we use 6th notch, others cause filtering = accel present

Yes the xai currently have this issue, i dont have one, but a quick search around the web you'll see that it still has some firmware issues to be sorted out, the largest issue is still the natural hardware accel, and officials from steel series havent responded yet, that why asking bro edifier for contact ma xD

Nah not saying you mouse got problem bro, dont misunderstand, the one i explained is software interpolation, but sometimes mouse sensor hardware may have this kind of problem too, but hardware based. Go test it out if you like, just for the fun of it haha start>ctrlpanel>hardwareandsound>mouse>pointeroptions you will see it, but in short the optimal settings is 6/11 notch, enhance pointer precision off. Maybe some players like acceleration, but if looking for consistant movement then no accel is the best way =)

Edifier bro, pricing on the glides? Afaik not teflon but some other material, just like the one on ikari. Btw mind to ask about the current situation about kinzu's positive accel? How could ss release a mice with flaws and not fix it? Same issue for the cai but luckily not as severe, but then even logitech have got a fix yet so it might be avago's fault, bro edifier and ideas what sensor is used in the kinzu?

Ss already acknowledge that they have postive accel in their mice and have something working on now, but the problem is they made no assurance on when the fix will be made available, and btw i dont own the kinzu nor the xai, still waiting for them to fix it before i make a purchase, pos. accel is unacceptable to me =/
