my dktboard is a nice and comfortable 1.7cm.
even my old logitech newtouch is 2.5cm.

so i think u should go measure properly, cos 0.5cm and obviously how its designed also will make a big difference in how it feels.
for the 7G there is very little space between the edge and where the keys start, so it makes it feel even taller.

Basically only change is the cosmetics. Regular Xai is black, the RUSE edition got the nais color.
