well, between siberia v2 and megalodon...i find not much difference.
the main thing with them is u have to tweak their EQs.
u cannot expect to just plug in and have all headsets sound the same, unless of cos they're pure recording / mastering / audiophile / whatever headsets with flat EQ.
so yea, messing with EQ is also another art that u have to learn and not just sticking in a V shape.

trust me u can
many regular ppl set their EQ based on what they think sounds rite...
eg. like some set for pop music...then when play rock u wonder why no bass or too much treble.
thats why its a little art in setting a general EQ so that it sounds as good as possible for most stuff.

imo its not the softness of the pad, its how much sidewards pressure the headset itself puts.
like siberia v2 puts way more pressure compared to the likes of razer megalodon or even my older 4H.

btw, i just realised the siberia can bend the dual wire on top of it to reduce the pressure alot...and i mean alot
but it still doesnt change the fact its still hot.

also realised noise isolation on siberia isnt that great, even tho ppl say leather ones should isolate better.
cos my lamb of god music playing thru my makos are still coming thru nicely when i wear the siberia...even when i press the cups with both my hands as tight as possible...IEMs are still obviously the best.
perhaps those who say got good isolation listens to stuff like the jonas brothers...

im guessing ur volume may be turned up too high.
when u plug in ur mic connector, hit mute and see if its gone.

ur other volume settings?
but for now go plug another headset see if the prob still there

i tried putting my 4H thru all my rock and metal stuff and the bass distorts, no such problems with the siberia v2 tho.

My xai also after 2+ months started to wear off...
btw, legend...imo if u want cheap headphones below rm100 with lots of bass but dont care bout mic...look at philips...

the bass isnt over-whelming fengtau style, but it provides more than enough for my rock / metal stuff.
those who usually say weak bass etc havent setup their system properly.

the 7G IS bloated with the usb ports which i myself dont bother to use.
i also dont bother to use the audio ports as i have an audio hub on my desk to switch between headset and speakers.
the only thing that the 6Gv2 is lacking tho would be the wrist rest.
sure u can game without the wrist rest, but for long hours? i bet ur wrist will start to ache due to the height of the kb.
