i experience good positioning sound from the 5hv2,siberia not so much but i liked the design
v2 have bigger driver and also have a better sound positioning
so mux giv it a shot

it doesnt last long its mainly because its a ''fractal'' textured surface though
correct me if i were wrong
i see u aiming megasoma though...from my experience with SS surface,i always felt that its smoother than razer's
not because i owned one but i tested it about 2 times with razer mat
expecially with pc fair..
i reccomend you go pc fair and try it out
there are quite a few number of mousepads there for u to test
razer mat are quite stacked up but SS mat layed on a 3 storey surface which let u choose or test(i forgot to bring mouse there to test,sadly mamba cant work with 4HD and no its not user problem)

i using the SS QcK+ juz about the size i nid
if too big go for standard QcK or a QcK Mass
if you want a bit friction go for those unpainted ones
painted ones feel more weird to me though
