trust me u can tongue.gif
many regular ppl set their EQ based on what they think sounds rite...
eg. like some set for pop music...then when play rock u wonder why no bass or too much treble.
thats why its a little art in setting a general EQ so that it sounds as good as possible for most stuff.

The Piranha might sound nicer but it hurts my ears after a while. Reminds me of a 3H.

Yep true. The Piranha really discomforts the user quickly because it's really quite tight on either side of your head.

I traded it in for a pair of Sonic Gears. Couldn't tahan the discomfort any longer so was wiling to use cheap for a while.

Actually, there are many numerous brands out there manufacturing high quality headsets with high end sound quality, it is really depending on your preference on which brand suits you the best. But for me i really feel that SteelSeries emphasizes on both performance and comfort, and heck it even looks really good on gamers/non gamers when they put on a SteelSeries product wouldn't you agree?

I dunno about u, but back in the days when i owned the 5H v2 usb, the cups were quite pressing on the side of my head. And i'm wearing specs, and the temple arms are 2mm thick.. So it gets quite uncomfortable behind the ears after long gaming hours.

But the 5H v2 is the only SS headset I've ever owned, so... sweat.gif

It's not really easy satisfying gamers that wear glasses. mellow.gif

But I think comfort wise, soft padded headphones lets the pads go around the side of the head better.
