Funny stuff happened. I tried to upgrade a couple of days ago, but had a error code in the "progress" report in the mips status page. Then, I went to TM Point and had them check the coverage area. Figured as much after the lady told me my area could not support 2MBPs.
Although, I already made an online upgrade to 2mbps and walaa... suddenly can get a boost of speed in XL. Hmm.. and promo extended lol! |

I think calling 100 should lead you to do a customer report. Try that.

A little heads up; don't fully believe if the people at TM Point tells you your area isn't covered. But when you're applying online, make sure you choose the correct package.
This is from my findings from asking at TM Point, so just would like to share my Q&A. E.g I'm on a 1mbps package, but sometimes in the "current package" it may be written as 512K combo value deal or something, and equivalent to RM88. This means that TM automatically upgrades your speed or something, as far as asking has yielded results. Another note is if people at TM Point tells your area isn't covered for, say, 2mbps, try to apply through online anwyay. But remember you can't jump through package combos. E.g You're on 1mbps normal package, but you wanna upgrade to 2bmps combo (inclusive of phone rental charge), therefore it will be rejected. You'll be renewing your contract to 1 year therefore you are not eligible for the upgrade... >_> So you have no choice but to choose 2bmps normal... =( Hope this helps. ^^ This post has been edited by piecemealcranky: Jan 1 2010, 04:49 PM |
