Before the session, I was looking forward to test some portable ones to upgrade KSC75... when the time comes, cannot resist trying the big ones... short time for too many good stuffs.

may be u can organize the TT session at somebody's house...
then can stay there from morning till night..

a whacky idea would be to book a hotel room.

if there are quite a number of us.. the charges wouldn't be a lot.

yup...actually almost all headphones pads are replaceable...just a matter of finding the correct/preferred replacement pads.

not now but maybe in near future afterall u need a speaker amp to drive it
and darkvoice 337, littledot mk6+/balanced amps had a tough time powering and driving the bugger
need to borrow Gryphon Tabu speaker amp and Airtight Tube Preamp to reveal it's full potential

Sorry to sound like a noob, but how do use a speaker amp to drive a headphone? Arent the connectors different?

from the pic above the gryphon amp, there is a small transformer box for k1000
use it to connect to speakers output and from there connect to k1000

they usually cant because of the different GAIN and output levels.

The connectors can be solved but you have to solve the design first.
