seems like you are trying to change string into int?

when from string to int, it will become number
then when you a = a + "too", this one only works if a is string

can't test the coding, currently don't have mingw.....

i think that code will give u compilation error..because string itself cannot be converted to int, no problem the other way round though..

int = interger right ?? string = character ??

in C and C++, int == integer/number, string is our normal daily word, it's implemented as an array of characters, hence u can access certain charater by using the "Char char = string[0];" method, u can also count the length of the string by using the .length method i think

hmm..not really hard...create new project -> new c++ project(in ur case i think is console project)
then in that project new->class
it will auto generate the class for u, for every class u can just create like that..or u can just drag the existing classes into the project also, just drag from the folder, the put it under the project inside VS
i recall there will be a compile(or build) button up there, and another one is run

when creating new project there hv C++ for CLR, win32 and general >.<
from CLR hv class library, console application, CLR empty project, window from application >.<
complicated ... i dont even know what it's ...
currently using visual studio C++ 2008
vS studio 2010 hving more function >.<

oh oh...win32 project then...right now i just display something on console right?? win32 is the console project..long time no use liao..haha
