installed mingw already? choose MinGW base tool, g++ compiler, and MinGW Make on installation.
then need to add 'c:\mingw\bin;' to the path environment with the quotes

u need a compiler to do that...

i am not very sure how to do that in Windows, since i juz stick to Code::Blocks which do all the work for me...

Linux has it's own built-in compiler which u can access thru the terminal...

if it works in Vista, it works in Win7...

try Compatibility mode...

right click the exe file, Properties, Compatibility, select Vista...

i ve used Code::Blocks and Dev C++ all the while...

ditched Visual Studio C++ quite some time as it's a bit troublesome to use... for me at least since as a student, we mainly work on small programs...

dev c++, code::blocks, visual studio all function the same, just depends you like which interface.

mingw is the compiler, whichever you used, you also need it.

if you don't want sacrifice hdd space and willing to use notepad, then use cmd to compile.
else use one of those three above and can compile in just one click.

Matrix Storage Manager is the driver for SATA AHCI and RAID, so that u can use features like NCQ and hot-plugging... and of course RAID...

u need that if u want to use eSATA...

Added on November 24, 2009, 9:34 pmand i ve only realized that only recently... sweat.gif
