Is it possible to install or replace the Modern Warfare 2 weapon sounds into COD Modern Warfare? I am more concentrating on Modern Warfare but I like the Modern Warfare 2 weapon sounds, is there any way to do this?

Again, I also wish to change the weapon model too. Modern Warfare 2 has better weapon look and sounds, especially for M4A1 and AK47.

Unfortunately, unlike its predecessor, MW2 does not have modding tools of any kind in which the weapon files are nicely sorted into folders for anyone to use it in one's mod (or ringtone). Even after browsing through the .iwd files, I see no traces of the weapon audio files anywhere (maybe its just my failed quick-browsing).

I've search through the Google engine, no result were found.

I hope it can be like Counter-Strike, we can mod the sound and everything.

That's why I said you couldn't find it.

That one is long story, I know that since Modern Warfare. All my Modern Warfare collection soundtrack are get from .iwd file by using winRAR.

The problem is I wanted to use the MW2 weapon sound in MW1.

its good if cod mw2 can put addons like crysis

the 50cal sound seem improve. i like it. it very match to my sound system 5.1 home threatre
