Seriously, if you can ask a question like this in a forum, i would seriously doubt your ability to open a franchise...

make sure u have the following:

RM 250,000 *cash*
RM 500,000 bank guarantee
a well written proposal on location, your marketing plan and etc

then they will be interested

a medium sized KFC kitchen will set you back about 250k (kitchen alone)

Good one, many just want the short cut of quick answer without doing any research at their end, at least they shd do some homework and if still not sure, only post some questions in the forum.

Why don't consider McD instead of KFC?

If all you know is to ask HOW and expect to be spoonfed an answer, here's what I would suggest you to have:

If you wanted to know HOW to open a successful KFC franchise, you would probably be someone WHO has the brains, money and proactivity to use, WHAT?, Google to find "KFC Franchise Malaysia" which will bring up a few sites, of WHERE I found the franchisor in Malaysia (but since you proven you are lazy, here's the link for you http://www.qsrbrands.com/English/FlashSite...aurants_KFC.asp ) and WHEN you have the guts to actually ask from the horses mouth on what price you need to pay, you can call the people at QSR, but as I believe you also won't have the ability or proactivity to do so, here is the link to their contact page http://www.qsrbrands.com/English/FlashSite...ficeContact.asp when you are ready to ask yourself WHY you are even putting yourself through so much hard work and money and time (which just costed me 5 minutes of googling and typing this message).

If you are incapable of doing basic homework which can be done in 5 minutes by anyone, do you honestly believe you have the capability to run a 50 man restaurant? Don't be rude to Loki when he points out to you that you have NO ABILITY whatsoever to run a business when you are incapable of doing something so simple in business, which is to find an answer which is publicly available.

And no, a business is not necessarily run by a dato, but by someone who can get off his/her lazy butt and actually DO work. That is what a businessman is, or were you expecting to be sitting down, EXEPCTING to be getting free money and advise?

yeahhh !!! franchise smile.gif

a.f.a.i.k, most franchise or chain stores licenses in malaysia is given to companies registered to M owners.

companies with C owners hardly get a fair share.
so unless you have a reputable OR atleast established company(registered & running), i guess all i can say is GOODLUCK??

how many petrol stations (petronas, etc) is own by C companies?
Mcd?? KFC alike

I agree with Nicholas Chan even with all the nagging. Can't do anything half hearted and expected to succeed.

u need to have at least 1 mill for that ...manpower, training + time, ability to handle the flow...
most of the time, dream and reality is hard to differentiate between both...

Sounds like another "just asking only" question.
Long time ago I also wanted to do something that can make a lot of money.
I wanted to open a bank. biggrin.gif

If I'm not mistaken, KFC & McDs in M'sia the masterfranchise do not 'share' their franchise license i.e. all fully owned and run by the masterfranchise unlike in other countries where the masterfranchise only provide license, train & provide resources to the individual restaurants.

Anyway if it is available for franchise, the franchise fees alone would be 7 figures
