Just got myself a gameboy micro. Before I plug in the adapter I inspect it and to my surprise, it only accepts 100V, not 240V. For those of u who own a micro, whats your adapter voltage rating?
To gameboy micro owners out there...

When I bought mine, the technician has spliced the charger head with a third party charger that charges a 100-240V range input. Frankenstein yes it is, but hey it works till now.
Mine is the Super Famicom edition. |

I'm using the Super Famicom edition... I think the charger that came with it (in my case yeah) supports 240volts..otherwise I would have a blown GameBoy Micro by now.

Wow, looks like the famicom version is very common here, mine is also famicom one. I'm not sure whether mine is being modified or not but for safety I would just wait for the third party charger to arrive.

QUOTE(gundamalpha @ Nov 21 2009, 09:24 PM) Oh ya, where do you bought your gbm? Online or local shop?Since I'm not sure whether mine is mod or not I wonder what'll happen if it is indeed mod to 220v and plug into the stepdown converter. |

Nothing fatal will happen if it's plug onto the step down converter, just that the power not enough to go through that's all. Step up converter on the other hand.. |
