QUOTE(HW-Racer @ Nov 22 2009, 08:14 PM) I am looking at the a230 RM1799 or the A330 RM2199...but many of my friends advised against it... aiyah then ask ur fren to buy for you lah..they ask me to choose from either canon or nikon due to better quality...and cheaper/more variety of accessories/lenses... quite like the A230 due to its affordable pricing and design.... he he u see everyone here have incredibly superb pics kan? (at least the ones they/us showing) does it takes any certain camera brand to do that? NO... and it stays that way.. if u prefer a230, and like it in ur grip.. then go for it! the same like buying a car. if u can afford a vios. and u fell comfortable with it.. then, are u gonna listen to ur frens saying kancil is better because its cheaper and more variety accessories? |

QUOTE(-milo- @ Nov 27 2009, 09:15 PM) erm..if for a newbie who likes bokeh..issit still better to get flash 1st b4 a 50mm 1.8? coz i too am saving up for that lens currently.. im not sure on how ur going to achieve ur bokeh..but for me, this is an example of my bokeh.. using SAL1780 (FYI its the lens kit) only, and wirelessly trogger flash to the piala2 at the back.. got bokeh also... even not as smooth as the bigger aperture so i guest (for me) that flash is ur best choice.. lens can come later, together with the skills a350; f4.5, 1/4s, iso100 ![]() another one is: ![]() |

QUOTE(-milo- @ Nov 27 2009, 10:08 PM) oo..icic..i always had the impression that larger aperture would produce a more blur and smooth bokeh..thats y im aiming for the 50mm..maybe i need to reconsider yes, bigger aperture = smoother bokehstill need more time to play around with my camera to figure out wat i really need..better dun rush n regret later but be in mind that the bokeh rely on the distance of the source of light, to the camera's better go for trial and error.. and see how it goes.. and not everything can have bokeh, but flash will surely helps in a lot! QUOTE I am going to argue for this again.. A100 maybe have pixel mapping, but for sure A200/A300/A350 don have pixel mapping. Dont know about A230/A330/A380 or A500/A550. The hot pixel stay at the same location and never change. While for the A700. I do notice that the hot pixel being removed after some time. So SONY actually remove some thing from A100 and make a cheaper model of A200. erm cannot confirm this because never happens to me.. but waiting for albnok sir.. and if they dont have; is there an alternative way? |

QUOTE(neo_lam @ Dec 6 2009, 02:17 PM) nope...even i zoom all out still can get sharp pictures...not necessary stand so close.... yah for me..IMO i often get sharp pics when zoom all out but stand in a quite long distances.... better to move then to adjust2 the focal length/zoom.. rather than just standing there i rather be moving a bit to get the right distance/sharper focus w/out re-composing |

QUOTE(jimlim007 @ Dec 10 2009, 07:41 PM) today death in team building event, photo shooting at bowling centre, suffer a lot of blur images again... aiyo.... how to do arrrr...... go out and learn more!what i mean is.. upon getting a blurred pic, try other settings (iso, aperture, shutter) and try other mode.. change the WB if nessecary.. change the metering mode.. and set the AF mode to the appropriate one.. u dont have to use Wide all the time, the same goes to Spot nor Local... trial and error is ur best friend! |
