QUOTE(kurzit @ Dec 16 2009, 04:02 PM) hey guys.i sometimes came across with this situation.is this focusing prob with my 1750 f2.8 tamron lens or its my setting mistake . when shooting more then 2 person, try use F4 or bigger (at 20mm or wider)when shooting more then 2 ppl, try not to zoom to 50mm the real problem is, u have to understand the plane of DOF... knowing where is the focus zone. but to save all the trouble, when shooting group, go wide(angle), go dark(smaller aperture) This post has been edited by ieR: Dec 16 2009, 06:14 PM |

QUOTE(Uzumaki NaruTo @ Dec 16 2009, 06:23 PM) QUOTE(Uzumaki NaruTo @ Dec 16 2009, 06:40 PM) i see. so that what he meant by 'when shooting more then 2 ppl, try not to zoom to 50mm'. Thanks for the explanation. i said, try not to zoom to 50m, not cannot for primes, well u cant zoom, u are stuck with 50mm, and u still can shoot, but not practical. u have to stand further then any other camera... (imagine a group photo of 15 ppl, where u plan to stand?) and if u use longer prime, 50 and above, learn to read the plane of focus (or the focus zone), use appropriate aperture. QUOTE(hkhk @ Dec 17 2009, 12:33 AM) Guys. Wan to ask a question. not sure which lens, but all my zoom lens will lost its focus point when zoom away (in or out)Can I assume that by using a zoom lens, When we zoom in and focus, and then zoom out it would stay in focus. Or this is only true to certain lens? |

i wont say A550 is for beginner, but when a beginner buys it, they wont need any upgrade for at least 3-4 years. when u buy A230, u probably wanted to upgrade in 6 month time. for A200/300 (been almost a year), time to upgrade or stay.
