QUOTE(jimlim007 @ Dec 12 2009, 12:19 PM) although i am noob at here (among sony dslr users), u will death in portrait in door shooting too w/o the flash. shake, blur, lose skin tone, dark all are your fren u really take the 'noob' status to a new level eh.. but one thing is true, you still can utilize the internal flash. i believe it is just a matter of time, you will buy both in the end when taking partrait indoor... shake, blur, lose skin tone? he he.. u never do any indoor shoot meh? shake if ur taking portrait... mana ada shake? the person will be sitting/standing still for the shot? the shake only happens when the subject moves.. OR u move.. so if the subject not moving but u still got shake then that means u dont have steady hands.. kalau tangan tidak stabil, flash besar mcm lori pun tetap akan ada shake juga, rite? alternate solution: tripod? blur how can the pic be blur if u make the focus right? focus at the eyes.. using AF or MF lose skin tone this one.. haiyah using flash can easily overexposed.. conviction: (verdict ala new style) ReasonOfThanatos, i suggest u buy flash, but if u think prime the best for you, then go for it.. its your money and ur style of photography! jimlim007, go practise more.. dude... |

lwliam he he he suddenly ur avatar becomes one issue here eh?
involve in the flash vs prime confrontation facedown.. soket creative style (CS), it depends on the lighting/condition of sorrounding.. WB is also important.. i rarely use CS, more on the WB settings |

QUOTE(ieR @ Dec 14 2009, 12:08 AM) i really dont understand why ppl keep insisting that shooting raw only gives u more room to edit, when jpeg actually can be done... pretty well in fact. i shoot JPEG 95% of the time..![]() but i'd try raw and there's more option to edit.. esp the WB it doesnt matter BTW if u got nice pics.. no need too much PP rite? |

i just recommend v1rtual because of his overexposed problem.. he MIGHT have more options if use raw.. and can learn to manipulate it all.. |
