If you want to clear yr CF of everything, yes why not?

Best to format it using your camera, so that it can recognize all available space...

If you mean format it using your camera, then yes.

Guys, anyone please go add a comment on the PC Fair thread so that I can post up more pics!

i see. some time prime lens also have weakness due to dof laugh.gif

its shouldnt really be a weakness...u can always find away to place the subjects u wan on the same plane...if u wanna make it sharp without afffecting ur framing..u can always increase ur aperture..it doesnt mean that u get 50mm F1.4 u had to use F1.4 all the time right tongue.gif

Poadster : Done! All pics added. Saw that you got some nice wireless shots at the workshop. The last pic though I would have preferred just a little fill flash on her face. Just a little bit to lighten it up a tad but keep the mood.

And we have one shot using 4 strobes at the PC Fair. It's with ahmike.

KK, it was a very uncontrolled enviroment.... 1 model, 2 ppl holding flash (thnx to William and the trainer), and about 20++ ppl shooting away.... rclxub.gif rclxub.gif rclxub.gif

I had my wireless flash with bounce card at her face, but as everyone starts to snap away, cant even control my flash.... cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

These were some of the nicer shots.... i had a whole bunch where there were not much light as the wireless flashes were triggered non stop.... whistling.gif whistling.gif whistling.gif

Poadster : Talk about uncontrolled! There's hoards of people at the PC Fair leh! Imagine the crowd and us with the model standing in an area about 10 square feet with four strobes - 2 left (held by Kysham) and 2 right (held by me) in a sea of other people! Hehehehehehe...

Kysham even asked the model if she got sun tan lotion or not. The flashes were barely 3 feet away and the photogs standing about 3 feet in front of her also!

I know it can get crazy but it was fun!

To kill the ambient, close down the aperture and use a higher shutter speed. But I personally do not recommend going into HSS as HSS flash output greatly reduces the power and you may not be able to light your subject properly.
