QUOTE(xxboxx @ May 19 2006, 07:11 PM) HD Ready and HDTV i heard before. never heard of "true HD". what is that? Sorry for the misunderstanding. True HD meants HDTV HD ready can support 720p/1080i, but cannot receive broadcasted HD signal, which is not a loss since malaysia still haven't broadcast in HD. Get confused already....... QUOTE(eone @ Aug 4 2006, 01:01 PM) The samsung LCD tv available here seems like a downgrade version of USA. If you go to the samsung website, You will see in USA the LCD TV has a better contrast ratio and more mega pixel. By the way, HDMI 1.3 is gonna release..... |

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Oct 1 2006, 09:21 PM) Amazon does not ship electronics outside of its region, eg. Amazon.com does not ship outside continental America, the same with Amazon.co.uk and such. Too bad....Because I targetted the Samsung LN series..... I think Samsung's LA series is the same series as LN only downgraded the dynamic contrast only. LA has 5000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic) LN has 6000:1 contrast ratio (dynamic) |

I saw Sony W series yesterday in lowyat....
It stated full HD. The price for 40 inch was rm9,999.00 almost half of the price for X series.... But I dont know about the picture quality yet as they just put on the machine but havent put any video to play on it yet. And also the panasonic TX-37LZ75(japan model) supports Full HD. I wonder if TX-37LX75 supports Full HD or not. |

I'm planning to get a 32 inch lcd tv for my room
Picture quality and durability (less problems and issues) is my target Here's the list of the candidates (Quite alot too, makes me headache) - Sony Bravia V300 series 32 inch - Sony Bravia D series 32 inch (for its 10-bit panel) - Samsung R8 series 32 inch (Price is tempting, but dunno long lasting or not) - Panasonic TX-32LXD700 (for its ips alpha panel) - Hitachi L32A01A (for its ips panel) |
