cant play dota on my samsung monitor

Every time i want to play dota, on screen it will say "not optimum resolution, recommended 1920x1080" but option on dota, max reso can get is 1280x 1080 only... btw my monitor is samsung sw2233... whenever i go out and play at cc there is no problem with other samsung monitor... pls help.... now i play dota on my old laptop and always lag... i doubt any problem with my proc and gc...

tried that already... if i set it to "auto" then it disables... i once read a thread in some forum saying sw2233 can't play non-wide screen game such as dota. I need some verification on this info or else i'll just get a monitor that can play dota..

Means you got no problem playing with your LCD resolution setting to auto? Stick with that then.

Change Warcraft 3's resolution manually. START > run > regedit While in the Windows Registry Editor (regedit), locate: HKEY_CURRENT_USER > Software > Blizzard Entertainment > Warcraft III > Video Make below change in decimal format: (Right click > Change > select "decimal" > fill in new value) resheight = 1080 reswidth = 1920 |
