newbie here. maybe its basic question but i just want confirmation frm the experience people.

here goes..

i m using onyx. switch frm celcom to digi bis rm 58. it takes about 24hrs for digi line to activate. but when it is activate services shown edge instead of EDGE. frm what i read on previous post its means my bis is not yet activated. is it correct?

so is that mean i need to wait until the EDGE appear? how long will its takes normally?

if i still browse in the edge will i be charge payu? but actually the digi staff didn't tell me anything on it. so i think i can just browse then complaint to them said that i do not bout it rite. huhu

hurmm..i did not activate it via call. i went to digi shop/centre maybe at jj tmn equine. it do take hrs to activate the digi line (as i before using celcom). do u mean i need to wait another 24hrs for the bis to activated? if that so i shall wait until tmrow since the digi line just active at 7pm today. if still no bis i will go report to digi. huhu

for the APN i already tick the enable APN. but i left default to epc.tmobile.com ( i read somewhere in the thread one user left it like that and it was fine).

for the menu > options > advance options > service book & then click menu to select "register services" - i cannot find anything to register etc.

in my case the new line activated for 24hrs. thats y im asking on the BIS time to be activated. i will try restart my phone tomorrow and checkon the BIS signal.

APN - i also not sure bout the epc thingy.huhu. btw i am using BIS digi rm58 unlimited. but still not activated.

1- connection on my phone stated edge - means bis not yet activate.aiya!

2 a) alamak! there is no long list of fb ym etc. so i may need to ctct digi. will do tmrow. then only ill try the pull out battery steps

ooooo...ok2. i set to digistrm once my bis activated.

just want to update bout my bis case..after i report to digi and they did call me to inform that my bis will be activated within 24hrs. but actually after 5-6 hrs later i can use my bis already..yeayy

but wanna to ask somethin bout the bb messenger. how to turn off vibrate when i receive a msg? anyone knows?

yes, me too can't watch you tube. my apn setting is digistrm. shud i change it to digistrm.net? is it working for utube if change?
