Firstly, I have no issues on telco network. Recently converted from maxis to digi due to cheaper rates and packages. If not mistaken, for celcom and maxis the package has to be both calls and data. For digi, for any calls or sms, you will only be charged when you use it. I rarely make calls using my phone as most of my friends were on BBM. So, that is a bonus for me. Coverage wise, no comment on digi. So far so good and the connection is fast and stable. Bold 9700 is quite the latest one here. Soon it will be BB Torch, but don't expect it to be too soon. If you plan to have Bold 9700, Digi do offer a package for it. But you have to be tied to the contract period. Other than that, can just get the phone and then register the line. It's your choice bro..

Yup, u can do tethering with your storm 2.. Open and activate it using the Desktop Manager Software. 

bought 9700 with digi smart plan package , RM1199 (contract for 2 yers)
the best part is , data plan promo for 6 month at rm28 then on 7th month start paying rm68.
got it at lowyat (agent)

i go registered and bought 2 blackberry 9700 at RM999 at
Subang Parade Digi Centre. now playing with it lol.

to be frank.. most of digi CS suck big time when talking anything related to BB.. i have been through a lot of troubles with most of them.. out of 5, only 1 is well trained

actually whoever register after 20 sept should pay addtional rm 10 for BIS.
but the funny things is...
yesterday i went to register this, before going i call customer service to reconfirm the plan again...
but the result is...even the operator also don know the bis package price is arised, she said there is no such things for additional rm 10....

Guys, be patient. Not everyone is educated on the products. Product changes everyday, if they conduct training everyday means no one will serve you? We as consumer can get the news even faster than their staff. If all staffs are busy updating themselves on DiGi stuffs, then who's gonna do the work?
