This is where DiGi got it all wrong. How can they give only BIS access without the option to use APN. Even Maxis hotlink prepaid BIS has different packages, with the cheapest package having BIS only while the more expensive packages comes with BIS and APN.

Looks like they still need to figure out how this works before they can play with the big boys.

That is Digi's problem. Not BB. Other postpaid BB does not have this issue.

Same problem like Apple's iTunes where you cannot download paid music and videos. Appworld works but you are not allowed to purchase directly from Appworld. Only free apps can be downloaded. Then again, this is not a problem since they do not restrict sales of software through Appworld only (this is not iPhone).

If you like an app, just go to the author's website and purchase from there and install. Almost everything in Appworld can be purchased outside. Appworld just makes it easier to find the apps and to purchase with paypal.
