NOTE TO ALL WHO PLANS TO TETHER their blackberry with DG plan - DiGi is charging and the 3GB cap is ON i.e. not REALLY UNLIMITED as claimed!!

Fair usage policy
16. The DG Smart Plan and BlackBerry Unlimited are subject to DiGi's Fair Usage Policy. DiGi's Fair Usage Policy is set out to ensure all DiGi customers have a good experience. DiGi's Fair Usage Policy is available for viewing on digi.com.my/blackberry.
17. The BlackBerry Unlimited is only available for users of BlackBerry.
18. Using the BlackBerry device to provide Internet access for another device which is otherwise unconnected, using the BlackBerry device as a modem (known as tethering) or using the SIM card on non-BlackBerry devices will subject the user to be charged based on Pay-As-You-Use rate of 10sen per 10kb.
19. As stipulated in DiGi's Fair Usage Policy, it is emphasised that the data speed will be throttled down from 1Mbps to 128Kbps once 3Gb of data is used within a billing cycle.
20. The available bandwidth is shared by all users active at a particular point in time. Based on DiGi's previous data and that of other Internet service providers, a small portion (about 5-10%) of users use a very large portion (about 70-80%) of bandwidth. Hence, this may have an impact on data speed.
21. DiGi may from time to time, amend this policy without further notice to its customers.
