U can call digi up to hush hush the progress of activation. At least 2 parties (Tele CS and CS from their specialist store) confirm to me that it can be done on the same days.

Also, no contract is not really 100% truth. If look careful under their FAQ, there is a clause stated as below:
Q20. Are there any penalties if I terminate my DG Smart Plan for BlackBerry after 2 months?
Answer: An admin fee of RM200 will be charged if your tenure on this plan is less than 3 months.

So in order not to pay the penalties, you need to sub at least 3 months. BUT, still far better than tie for 12 or 24 months. smile.gif

Is it? oh well, at least 3 months intead of 24 or 12 months.. and some more, it is the cheapest unlimited internet~ icon_rolleyes.gif

i saw this on T&C :

Upon signing of this offer, the subscriber agrees to subscribe to either DG Smart Plan//DG50/DG150 for a contract of either twelve (12) or twenty-four (24) months from the date of signing the contract. It is deemed a breach of contract should the subscriber terminate the subscription of the rate plan/downgrade/upgrade/change to other rate plan and/or request for a change of handset model prior to the contract maturity on either the 12th or 24th month

Wah, dang.. one by one showed up.. anyway, we (my wife and I) subscribe to DG FnF (can't remember the exact plan, receipt left at home), with 1 main line and 1 sub line.. and both line will be added unlimited BIS the day after we've made voice calls.. because we insist of getting both of our phone BIS enabled in the same time Free calls sms etc just like our 1+5 Celcom..

At first they say cannot, then they say all OK! biggrin.gif

Then we say all OK too! whistling.gif

We did this all at Digi Centre at 1Utama.. icon_rolleyes.gif

R u sure? I post a few pages back on this issue. I even went to DiGI centre and Times Square and email DiGI CS and this is what the replied;

Thank you for your e-mail.

With regards to the above, please note that only Principal lines are able to subscribe to the Blackberry services.

Please be informed of the following packages that are available for a new principal registration:
#1 Blackberry Smart Plan
-Offered only for new registration.
-Only RM58 per month for the Blackberry services and Unlimited Data.
-No commitment or monthly fees involved.(Pay for usage only)+
-3 months contract.
#2 DG Postpaid plan with Blackberry service
-Blackberry Unlimited service.
-Applicable to current Postpaid plans.
-No contract.

Further details can be found via this URL link:

If DiGi at 1utame can do it, i plan to go the this weekend. Has you lines and BIS (both principal and supp) been activated?

Yupp 1Utama said can.. actually, I also went to Digi Tesco Damansara and that girl also said can..

If you look closely, see at #2. It is stated that current postpaid plans can subscribe to BB Unlimited service. That is what they are doing to our lines. We are not a new principal thingy registration. They register us first as Digi Postpaid plan customers. Then they add BIS afterward, not on the same day. That is why they said that our BIS would be today or Friday.. Ours are not #1 - which is Blackberry Smart Plans.. I think they (OU Digi guys) are smarter icon_rolleyes.gif

Btw, our lines now are on Digi though caring 019!~ rclxms.gif but not BIS yet.. will give them a call first beforehand.. Will update you guys!~

Mine was blank at first but saw the folks here advised to set as blackberry.net so I changed it but still got charged. No matter it is blank, blackberry.net, diginet, etc, BIS always stays connected. So it's hard to tell whether will get charge or not, well since I'm with blackberry.net now, I'll choose to stick to it.

I set mine as default and so far (after intense use of data) my bill for this month (Dec 2009) is only RM60 plus.. (because I have another phone for calls) rolleyes.gif

Edit: In terms of voice usage, I only use BB for making light phone calls + smses.. nod.gif A reasonable additional of +-RM10 (after some rebate on my first month - the advance payment)
