QUOTE(baim @ Dec 30 2010, 12:18 PM) im kindda interested with this digi smart plan....but im a bit blur... if i buy the blackberry curve 9300(3G) and with contract 2 years...what is the total amount that i need to pay off initially and monthly..???what is advance payment?is it something like monthly redemption? the best answer would be, by asking the customer service there or give them a call via the phone line. =) all your questions will be answered then This post has been edited by bennike129: Dec 30 2010, 12:19 PM

QUOTE(orenzai @ Jan 5 2011, 10:00 AM) Download NetworkTrafficControl from Appworld. Its a free bandwidth monitoring app that, well, monitors your bandwidth very useful app. You can even configure the setting to set an alert in case you over-exceed the amount you're willing to pay.

QUOTE(Xforged @ Jan 7 2011, 06:05 PM) yup, the digi bro said that there will be penalty. didnt ask how much. basically you will be tied down for 1 or 2 years depending on your plan. initially thought of going for smart plan lite, but I opted for unlimited plan. smart lite plan doesn't come with phone bundle. if it does, i will surely consider it Penalty is around RM 500

QUOTE(friedbeef @ Jan 8 2011, 09:01 AM) Penalty is just a subsidy recovery. Ask any of the digi center people to show you the calculation. its retail price minus subsidized price - which is prorated based on amount of months you have left on the contract + RM100 admin fee. Which means... if your phone RRP is RM1000 and you got it for RM500 on a 24 months contract, if you quit halfway at 12 months it is...RRP-Subsidized price = 1000-500 = RM500, then prorated 12 months left on contract = RM250 then +100 admin fee = RM350 contact termination fee. Which is quite OK cos 1. They don't charge you for the remaining service which you never use 2. If you look carefully all they are trying to do is recover a PORTION of the subsidy they provided for the phone 3. Even after you terminate halfway or whatever - most of the time you still save money vs buying it outside without contract Icic, never knew that.

QUOTE(bontotalan @ Jan 9 2011, 09:18 AM) grey iBerry , cant wait to call at 10am, i doubt they on at this time. i was always tell myself i dont want a blackberry, but all my family excluding me using berry, and they bbm without me, felt so left out Added on January 9, 2011, 9:31 amlast question, should i get the RM 33 or the RM 68 one? 300mb or 3gb coz i will mainly use blackberry as the data/bis only gps,a few browsing when my iphone goes down, bbm, and other stuff bb does [i really dont know ] iphone as the call/sms/entertainment 300 MB might be enough. Even with heavy usage of social networking apps, you won't go far with the data usage. Try sticking to 300 MB 1st, use Network Traffic Control to count your avg data usage. 3 GB is used mostly for tethering or heavy video streaming This post has been edited by bennike129: Jan 9 2011, 09:47 AM
