Oh, so they throttle la, but 3GB is quite a lot of data to use up in a month. Digi resets the used amount every month rite?

The upfront money is necessary for the Telcos because you're signing a 2 year contract. There are ppl out there who sign on a 2 year contract just to get a cheaper price for the phone and immediately change the sim and use their previous telco. With this upfront payment, the user is forced to use the phone because of the advanced payment.

Check your digi bill. If you paid RM500 upfront, your balance should be -490+ just like mine. I did the same and my bill is -400+ so I don't have to pay my bills till my "credit" is used up.

Yes it has to show a negative amount because you paid in advance.



I use the bold 2 to surf youtube using Digi's BB smart plan. So far I did not get charged additional data rates for that. I think if you do some settings for the APN, they shouldn't charge you extra because you'll be using your BIS plan.

i've also been having problems with my bills. it seems that the way they send out the bills to me are all wrong timing. so confusing in comparison to maxis.

guys, what is required to tether my bb? using bold 9700 here. can i do it wirelessly to my laptop?

is this plan the same with the DG58 that was being sold with the 9700? confused lar.

how about tethering? I read the faq last time and it said that DG58 unlimited doesnt cover tethering. If i tether now will i get charged extra?

I called them yesterday and the customer service dude said my plan (58) wont get charged extra for tethering. But I am gonna call again because sometimes these fellas get confused easily.

Called Digi CS, told me no extra charges. Gonna start tethering soon and see if I get charged.

yeah, but last time they said that its unlimited on the bb device only and not tethering. A lot of ppl got really upset with that. kinda misleading.

I think they also wanna naik harga la. extra 10 bucks and you can tether all you want. maybe those with 58 are considered lucky?

Yes, its getting slower. Must be due to the fact that a lot of ppl use DIGI solely because it's cheap.

same here. the second i open my browser, the BIS signal goes missing. sigh.
