using bluetooth is another option but i would like to go with USB cable coz it functions as charger as well

Have you tried downloading the latest DM from the BB site? I had problems with mine on Vista too..the one out of the CD did not work...

For those unsure of the plans, I would suggest going to a big store like Digi 360 in Solaris or SS2....Coz at Digi 1 Utama I was told that I could not take a 2 year contract after porting from Maxis...luckily I asked at SS2 instead and they told me it was possible..and it was

Oooh I also wanted to ask..do we have to pay extra (out of the rm68) if we want to stream youtube videos?

thinking of getting blackberry with the smart plan for my wife....anyone knows which digi outlet has the phone?

i jz got a information from Hong Leong Bank's catalouge,
u can buy BB 8520 from Digi with 12 or 24 months installment,
RM143 for 12 months or RM91 for 24 months,
but not for other phone.

i wonder if i buy BB from them with HLB installment plan,
is it possible to get HTC Legend after 2 or 3 months with 24 contract?
or we only can buy a phone under the DG Smart Plan contract,
no matter from HLB promotion or not?

If not mistaken, 1 person (IC number) can only register 1 DG Smart Plan.
So if U buy BB under HLB with yr name, IC. Dont think you can register another one lo.

But correct me if I wrong.

im currently using Digi rm58 digi bis unlimited. bought from midvalley roadshow last month.

can i upgrade to rm68? the digi centre lady said i cant. assume if i can upgrade to rm68, can i use it on other smartphones then? for example n900. the digi lady said not possible unless i register a new line just for it.

another question is, im using bb9000, if i buy bb9700... will i able to move all the service/stuff to my new 9700? if so.. how?

About the upgrade, some claim need to wait for 3 months period only can upgrade. You can dchat or call digi to ask about it.

For change BB, you can use Desktop Manager feature called "Device Switch Wizard". It will back up yr old BB data and transfer to new BB. Simple and easy
