Hye there, it's about 10 days since I'm register for Smartplan. Can someone share their experience with the billing things with me. Below are my situation:-

   

*Get my BB 8520 from LowYat promo. Paid RM549 for BB + RM500 upfront payment for 2 years contract.

1) I've already registered with DiGi OCS and view my bill online. For the 1st month I got billing amount of RM3.74 (monthly fixed charge) + RM0.19(Service Tax) = RM3.93 (Total amt). Is my bill seems ok? As I know for the promo we will get FREE for the 1st month bill. Anyone can clarify this? 

2) I pay RM500 upfront payment for the BB promo, but my bill didn,t show that amount. Anyone have the same issues? Should be RM500 (upfront payment) - RM3.93 (current charge) = RM -496.07 (Total amount left). Rite?

according to the T & C of DIGI BIZ we cannot tethering if you do so it will charge you. so better don't try it if not you will get a shock after the they billed you

Before that, are you a foreigner? If yes, then the RM500 should be a deposit instead & it will not reflect in your bill.

If you are not a foreigner, then you have to call in to enquire because sometimes the the amount is not updated in your bill because the processing was done after your bill was out.

The upfront money is necessary for the Telcos because you're signing a 2 year contract. There are ppl out there who sign on a 2 year contract just to get a cheaper price for the phone and immediately change the sim and use their previous telco. With this upfront payment, the user is forced to use the phone because of the advanced payment.

Check your digi bill. If you paid RM500 upfront, your balance should be -490+ just like mine. I did the same and my bill is -400+ so I don't have to pay my bills till my "credit" is used up.

ViraVira, I'm not a foreigner, I think I will call DG CS instead to enquire about my 1st bill. Scared if my upfront payment burned..hehe. But I check already my 1st bill, it stated that I have 504 point for redemption, so it should be my 500 bucks i thinks. Thanks for your reply ya.

Change your apn to digistrm

Digi FAQ site clearly stated no charge if use digistrm for media streaming.

No the 504 points is not your money bro. It is just a bonus point (500 points) given for new signup.

try pressing *128*1*1#call & see whether your current balance shows negative amount (by right it should). If it shows same as your bill, then you need to call & clarify.

just received my first month billing from digi. got their bb 9700 @ the mv roadshow and subscribe to their rm58 bis package. when the bill came i was shocked lol ... the bill was rm100+. i wondered how they calculated the bill. paid 500 upfront and  i thoguht the first month BIS gonna be free and i ended up getting billed over rm100+. if im not mistaken BIS included normal web surfing. i did not do any tethering and only use it for normal web surfing, 24/7 facebook and 24/7 window live messenger.

any bros here have the same problem? getting billed over rm100 in their first month?

Good news.

For those who want to tether using their bb with DiGi smart plan is now possible. All you have to do is to upgrade your package to RM68 & you can use it for tethering. There is also suppose to be package RM78 where you can use BES as well but did not find in the website. Any idea abt this anyone?

Anyway, it is a damn affordable rate.

i just subsribed to Digi SmartPlan rm58 two days ago. but until today, my BIS havent activated yet. tried calling their hotline and was advised that it will only be activated after 24hrs. now its more than 24hrs... does anyone faced this problem before?
