I have a simple question b4 decided to subscribe to Digi BIS smart plan.

If I am using Curve 8250 which only runs on EDGE network. When I am using the BIS, can I still receive call?

AFAIK, one of my friend's work as network planner in DiGi tell me you can only do one thing on EDGE network.. eg. if u connected to the internet or browsing the web via ur phone,  you can't receive or make any calls and vice versa.

BIS is depend on your network which means you are actually on the same line. If you can't receive call then you can't use BIS either. I actually still reciving email while I'm on call or vice versa or no worries.

Hmm....not too sure maybe network or signal issue.

Hi im using Storm 9500 and activated Digi Blackberry Lite since i was an existing DG50 customer, but till today i cant use any blackberry services. Is there any settings i need to modify?

I activated it on 30th december.

Its EDGE still. I was on blackberry unlimited 58 internet but asked them to cancel and activate blackberry.

No i was on internet unlimited which is 58 per month with no blackberry services included. It says edge all small letters. I call up CS they dont even know how to help me those ladies, they said they'll get a team to call me back.

I go to network settings it has 3G & 2G on, when i set 3G alone it wont get a signal at all.

Not all areas have 3G, so just set to to 2G/3G or just 2G alone

I dont get you, so i dont have to go for that blackberry lite plan if i wanna use blackberry messenger etc?

I have edge on now, but im trying to connect to msn messenger etc it says DATA SERVICES UNAVAILABLE.

Ok, but i dont know why is it that i cant get my BIS activated, ive called them 3 times now and none of them can answer me.

Ok i got a call for the network department, they say they have all my settings on their side like PIN and IMEI number that means somehow i have been connected to blackberry server and sent that info. But why cant i get the big EDGE they also have no explanation. Anyone here can help?

I just got Bold and currently using Digi prepaid. Before this i just pop the sim and can use the data with no problem. But with BB, it seems not working. Am I missing a settting or is it because Digi just do not allow me to do so?

just successfully ported from maxis to digi today and my digi line was activated about 1 hour ago
but until now im still not able to use BIS.. the status is edge instead of EDGE
i've done the following things
1) requested maxis to release my BB pin before port out
2) battery pull after putting new sim card
3) re-registered host routing table

or do i need to wait for few hours b4 the BIS to fully activate? is there anyone experienced the same issue b4?

Apparently, Digi is no good. 3G coverage even in Klang valley is incomplete. People only like cheap stuff. Proton is cheap too.

You are just weird. If you don't like it then don't come in and flame others.
Digi still new, just need time to adjust everything. Don't tell me maxis don't have any problem before. If you are really that rich, don't stay here go some rich country, don't use maxis cheap plan, don't drive local car and get yourself a over million sport car instead. Don't tell me you drive some japan made car and call yourself high class, japan made are just are low end car as well..
Who told you only Klang having coverage? My friend who works in KL can get 3G and it is faster than maxis.

As you all know now I'm on DG Smartplan for BB... But can I register for another plan and keep the RM58 unlimited BIS plan?

Let say DG50 + Ulimited Bis.

Is it possible?

And plus, I can't find the call rates for postpaid plan on DiGi website, like Maxis. Anyone?

rules of thumb, always go to the branch to register, etc, NOT the dealers. Same goes for Celcom n Maxis.

As for the digistrm APN, lets wait for your bill to come, no need to argue.

Btw i wish that Digi BIS allows tethering for the rm58 plan, just like other telcos.
