I am tethering using Smartplan Lite with my BB out of desperation. What happens after exceeding 300MB quota? Some say total disconnection, some say throttling.

I remember some one said in this thread (forgot which page) that the 300mb and 3GB package is different. the 300mb one will throttle too but to an unacceptable speed (5~10KB/s) which is almost not useable. But that's from what I heard.

guys, any idea what is wrong with Digi for the past 2 weeks? my 3G blackberry logo keeps disappearing at random times. had to reset network to get it to appear back & it disappears again after some time. its annoying! any help?

Same thing here bro, 3G signal in, then out, then in again. Fluctuating connection I guess

me too.. having the same problem. i wonder what is wrong with the connection. bis always disappear that leaves with only 3G connection. hopefully it's just a small and temporary issues and will be solve quickly by digi. otherwise, they might lose their customers..

Same..! BIS disappears for awhile... then I have to disable Data Services and reenable it to get it back. Otherwise it'd take quite a long time to automatically get back to BIS. Very weird. Only in DiGi it happens I guess.

digi was shit since beginning of this year.

i called to their hotline and they passed me to 2nd level engineers. they claimed their network is stable and no outage issue.

i cant even get a good signal at times... and even with good signal, the call would drop within 1-2 minutes.

my BIS service is like shit. that made my berry useless!

Lol where do you live? I'm from around Puchong / Subang and signal is good/normal.

The only thing is the random disconnection from BIS.

i think this is getting worse! not only my BIS network goes missing, but the network turns SOS at random times for few minutes.

Even with a normal network without BIS logo sometimes (but with full bars of digi coverage) i cant receive calls or make a call. anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, I'm getting it quite often as well. This normally happens in Cyberjaya area though...where are you guys located?

WHY every single day digi deduct RM5 from my credit saying "Your internet has reached RM5 today. Enjoy free browsing from now till 11.59pm".

I have been getting this daily for 5 days now. This is ridiculous. I'm using BB and its on a BB unlimited plan daily of RM2. I only use twitter, facebook on my device which I believe falls under the category of the "unlimited plan".

I don't use foursquare or browsing. Anyone faces this? Its so irritating having been charge on things I didnt commit. If this goes on, I will change to other telco.

Some of my friends faced this, but some don't. Funny eh?

Changing telco helps? I've seen other telco users complaining too.

Since you already commit Rm2 daily, consider Smartplan Lite.

Yes, its getting slower. Must be due to the fact that a lot of ppl use DIGI solely because it's cheap.

They say that it is unlimited data but not sure whether unlimited "DATA" or unlimited BIS.
