need help on tethering, i had tried all the steps according to website, but i still cant get connected to internet using my blackberry 8520. can anyone help me?

I'm planning to get a BB Bold 9700 soon, and going to sign up for Digi BB Smart plan.

Just want to clarify here, from what i read from Digi website, when we wan to sign up for the plan, we need to pay:

the phone: RM1299
Advance payment: RM500
1st month BIS: RM68

So total v need to pay to sign up the plan is RM1867?

is there an outage for digi? i got no BIS logo only 3g logo... something wrong cause my friend using maxis no issues. anyone else effected?

I've check the price for bold 9700 and the chepest i got is RM1700, do you guys think i should straight away get it from digi or purchase it from outside and sign up for Digi RM68 plan?  any suggestions?

if i mnp to digi, and take their bb 9700 plan and package, how long the whole procedure? have to wait up to few days?

from what i know MNP will take up to 3 days.

whats the correct apn settings for youtube now?

i was using digistrm for the past 7months, and no problem, then suddenly yesterday, out of the blue, i did not change anything, i can't view youtube videos, it says error occured while attempting to play media, but if i use wifi, then everything is okay, anyone know the solution?

just register to DG Smartplan BIS RM68 at the DSS Sunway Pyramid.. i still not yet put the simcard on my berry.. just wait until my hotlink daily bis deactivated at 11.00pm.. i planning to port my maxis to digi.. but have to cancelled out coz still love maxis..so just register a new number..and ya, i have to paid rm68 for registration but my first month bill waived..  but a few things that make me confuse doh..

1. the staff say its unlimited for blackberry internet usage but not WAP??? he say WAP (diginet) is PAYU.. is it correct?? Im confuse and quite scare now coz diginet activity always running on the back end without our notice..scared of charged.. die lor..
2. just to triple confirm.. is free to tether and watch youtube?? is WAP diginet include in rm68 plan?

Hi, i am a new BB user. Just switch to DIGI today for the plan.

According to them, i can't have international roaming unless i pay RM300 as deposit or i've been using DIGI service for more than 6 months. In other words, my BB will not be working at all if i am in overseas. No phone calls, no SMS and no BIS.

I'll be going to Phuket in Jan 2011. So i am wondering whether it can be connected if there's a WIFI in that area.

can anyone pls tell me how do i check out where the road shows r?? m in Penang!

i went to the digi centre yesterday, they dint even know there was such promo...

my friend just subscribe to smartplan, and she's been charge RM78.
I ask CS at Dchat, and he said that RM68+RM10 (BIS) = RM78

agreed! i went to a digi specialized centred today and they did not even mention about the rebate of RM40 and i kept on asking are you sure its RM68 for the 1st 6 months and there is no rebate ... the cs said no! I was not satisfied with the service and than i called several digi specialized centre around northern and like you said out of 5 only 1 is trained well on the product knowledge!  this is so irritating!

i got my bold2 from DG at their MidV fair...RM999/2yrs contract
1st 6mths - DG Smartplan with BIS = RM 28
Sub mths = RM68
huhu!!lucky didnt kena the additional RM10 for BIS

i want to take up bb9700 plan on 24 month contract. how much do i need to pay eh? lump sum rm999 or they have installment plan?

You mean you will be charged for streaming and tetherimg (rm5) after you have finished the 300mb quota?
