guys, wanna ask about DG plan. i jz went on their website and it shows 24 months contract for RM549.. is that the full amount to pay to get the phone plus 2 year contract? is there any hidden fees will be issued on the 1st bill?

that said, means i jz need to pay RM549 when i go to DG centres?

and the contract comes with RM68 unlimited usage? that means, on the next month where i will be getting my 1st bill, i will be charged RM68+(call/sms usage?)

have been a maxis user for 10 years, and this is the 1st time im thinking of switching...

hope to get some good opinions from u veterans here. :)tq

Yeahp the phone is RM549 if you sign up the 2years contract. But the first payment is not only RM549. Because they will require RM500 for upfront payment and the advance payment for first month which is Rm68. Andd dont worry, the payment for following months will be deducted from the Rm500 until it finishes, and then only they will start charging you. Means you have to pay your bill when the Rm500 finishes. biggrin.gif Hope it helps. x

Example:

This month's bill : Rm68(Bis)+Rm25(calls, texts and stuff) = Rm93

So the Rm93 will be deducted from the Rm500 you paid earlier. So its like 'bill-free' for few months. ( have to see how much you spend thou ) biggrin.gif

Ohhh and if your total usage exceed Rm100, you've got RM17 discount. If i am not wrong. And if your total usage exceed Rm200, you dont need to pay for the Internet, which is RM68. So yeahhhhhh.

Hey guys, for BB8520 using DG68, anybody manage to get the youtube to work using bb software, not xenozu or vision?

If yes, please tell me what you did, cos when I click the video from bb browser, they will ask "use wap for streaming media?", i click cancel (cannot find 'No', just Yes and Cancel), then it will just stop there..do nothing.

Please help, TQ!

Hi guys, based on the DiGi FAQ, it's definitely included as part of the package.

http://www.digi.com.my/whatshot/promotions...berry/faq.do#33
Can I use YouTube on the Blackberry?
Yes you can. Unlimited YouTube streaming is included as part of your Blackberry plan. In order to set up YouTube, please follow these instructions.

Press: Menu → Options → Advanced Options → TCP/IP → Tick the checkbox to enable APN (If you see it) and type in digistrm in your APN.
Leave the username and password blank.

DO NOT use the diginet APN on a Blackberry or you will be charged 10sen/10kb

I just ported in to Digi this evening from Tunetalk. Cannot stand the constant flash massage spam by Tunetalk.

Anyway, I need a clarification on Digi Smart Plan.

From the website, I got the impression that it is a really all in one package. Subscribe to it, the sim card can be used in any smartphone and blackberry, BIS included.

However, I was told by the counter staff at the Digi dealer in IOI Mall that actually that is not how it works. There are 2 smart plans, 1 for BB and 1 for non-BB.

Can someone clarify? If what the counter staff said is true, then http://www.digi.com.my/internet/smartplan/smartplan.html is very misleading.

Thanks.

I got mine at IOI Mall 2 weeks ago. The salesperson on the left counter doesnt know anything.

I get the similar plan to the page you've posted. Smartplan with RM68 unlimited data and no call minimum usage.

I just called the customer care. RM68 is either BB or non BB, not both. Bloody misleading. I think of complaining to MCMC,

MCMC? LOL. Its just a one inexperience salesperson that making the mistake. Not sure if the whole team there made the mistake.
On my part, its only that one salesperson on the left counter. From his looks, he probably just started there. Told the guys at the registration table about this and they scold that guy in front of me. Told them its ok. No biggie tho.
