This is my honest review of this guy's work. My PS3 has YLOD symptom but it could still be turned on. Sent my unit to him in leisure Mall. Got it fixed very quickly in less than 2 days. Went home after collecting my unit and in less than 15 minutes it went kaput. But no YLOD. Restarted and same thing happened in less than an hour 's play.

Called him up and he explained might need to do rewiring on the GPU. I was thinking what the hell? Rewiring? I did not question his technical expertise but does he know what to mess with the so called GPU or is he just pulling my leg I'm not sure. But I did return the unit which he promised to fix. Got my unit back after a few days and it started fine. Only downside is the rather noisy exhaust fan. It still shut down after not more than 2 hours continuous gameplay. What's more serious is that he might screwed up my GPU or something as it couldn't display thru HDMI no matter how. Thus from simple YLOD problem it became dead from this fail to display problem. I'm not sure what he did the second time but I think he screwed my PS3 up. I have no choice but to buy a new slim unit.

My simple advice, buy new unit or official Malaysia set so u can have sony Malaysia fix it instead of unqualified technicians who claimed to be able to rewire the PS3's GPU...Hands up....
