I went to gym for one year starting from june 2008 - may 2008, wasn't really hardcore into weight lifting and building muscle, but during my workout I did gain some muscle mass.
the problem is, the muscles started to deteriorate to erm... to fats after I quit gym (thanks to the late night burger and mamak session lately). Used to weigh around 70kg, but now I'm at 73-74kg and my height is 176cm.
planned to resume the gym habit now, need some experience advice from fellow members.
should I cut my weight down first (the fats around the chest or under the armpit is seriously bothering me, not to mention the tyre wrapping around my belly.)
or should I resume weightlifting, and hopefully my metabolism rate will increase after workout and converting those fats to muscle?
