Guys, i'm looking for a property in Pj (since i already stay in pj for bout 7 years). Well, since the only property i can afford at this moment is within the range of RM300k below, i guess the only thing that suit me will be apartment/condo.
After scouting around, these are the things i manage to find:
1) Suria Damansara Condo, Kelana Idaman
Selling price : 220k to 260k (1,100 sq ft) Detail: freehold, low density, come with 2 car park, unfurnish, completed <4yrs maintenance charge RM0.15 psf
2) Damansara Perdana Exclusive Condo Selling price : 250k to 300k (996 sqft)
Detail: leasehold, high density, 1 car park, partly furnish, completed year not sure, maintenance charge RM0.20 psf
Need some advice for these 2 property, the reason i concentrate for these 2 is because they look quite "new" and more or less within my budget.
All comments are welcome.

I would suggest u buy landed property like terrace house even though its single storey, pay slightly more its still worth it. I hate paying maintenance.

I hate paying maintenance. for less than rm300k, only single storey...and it's kinda old....i had this thinking too at first, and viewed single storeys around section 14, which are in my budget region....but it was a "horrendous" experience for me....

if for single storey, with my kind of budget.......pretty hard. I can only get those old single link house in sec14, or sec1. After buying it u still need to dump in big amount of $$$ to do the refurbishing. But of coz no need to pay maintenance for landed.

Most youngsters would prefer the Bandar Utama-Mutiara Damansara-Damansara Perdana Corridor........

How's the JMB there? maintenance ok? Is it too noisy coz i think quite near to NKVE though. I realize before reaching to SD there are few row of shop houses at the front, but with a vry low occupancy. Night time is kinda scary.

@accetera, You're absolutely right - unfortunately most youngsters can't afford "the Bandar Utama-Mutiara Damansara-Damansara Perdana Corridor........"
I was looking at Bukit Utama; unfortunately I'm only interested in the low rise and there hasn't been many units available; price wise, not nice also (aka v expensive!)
@madman.com, Are these the only 2 options you've come up with?

@madman.com, Are U planning to live alone or are you married? Assuming you're currently single and are looking at purchasing this property, U've to ask urself if this is suitable for when you get married [or is this going to be a short term thing, and that u plan to shift out after ur married?!]
I asked the above question so that U can evaluate the kind of space you actually need. TBH, both properties you mentioned are quite uhm... small.

Getting Started

|
Is Kelana Idaman condo the one opposite LDP furniture mall? If it is maybe you would like to monitor the environment a bit longer. From my little passing by around that area, the place does seem to have quite a number of foreigners (bangladeshi and so on).

@madman.com, oKies doKies - in that case can't help U. Btw I just thought of another recommendation - go check out Desa Kiara; if U don't mind it overlooking the Muslim cemetery; quite a nice place + it's in PJ + it's probably within your budget + it's bigger
